Re: Making rock formationsDo some searches for aquascape or aquascaping....
You can use underwater epoxy, there is a cement you can use, and a lot of people drill their rock and then use acrylic rods or pvc to connect them all. It is a lot of work but well worth it. Just remember, if you use epoxy or cement, getting that rock out of the aquarium will be a real pain... Hoss
Re: Making rock formationsCool thanks a lot hoss apreciate the info
Re: Making rock formationsWhat also works really well is drilling the rock and using the fiberglass rods from driveway markers. They are 2 or so dollars and hold up well. If you cant find acrylic rods.

Re: Making rock formationsZip ties are great too, just drill holes in non-visible areas so they don't show too much. For smaller structures, 30lb fish line works great too, and, allows you to use the natural pores in the rock, so, less drilling! You can also make structures using eggcrate as the skeleton and then tie rock to the eggcrate and use pond foam to fill in and strengthen the form. There are lots of ways to build structures with your rock!
Re: Making rock formationscoo ima try one of those im switching tanks so its a perfect time tto do it
